| DART version 1.5.3 is the predecessor to Apple Disk Copy. Although it dates from 1993, it is the only utility with S-Mac below that will image any floppy that the Finder cannot mount. Working with System 7.1 to 9.2.2 and freeware. | Floppy Image version 2.3.1 is a powerful utility that can create self-extracting and compressed images. It also enables using backdrop pictures and dialog display. Working with Windows 98/ME/2K/XP. Shareware at $15. Author's website is here. Alternatively, version 1.4 (freeware) can be downloaded here. | ||
| S-Mac is the version of S-Disk for Macintosh, written by Terje Finstad for the Sgroup in 1992. It works with out and sdk images just like S-Disk. I prefer using DART as it is faster but S-Mac has the advantage of being able to create labels out of images. | S-Disk was written back in 1993 by Nic Grant (g'day mate) and it became the standard floppy image utility for use with Roland S samplers. It has served the Roland community very well but, unfortunately, it was never updated to a Windows version which is why I prefer to use Floppy Image. The version here is 1.1. | ||

| OS 2.24 for Mac OS 9.2 or earlier. For OS X, have a friend with a PC ! | OS 2.24 for all Windows versions. | ||
| I used to make lots of different versions available but there was no point really. If you need an other version, contact me. The OP-760-1 needs v.2.1.2 as minimum. | |||
